New Bible Study For July 2024
1. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever – the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be___________ . I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” Jn 14:15-18
Many would say that the book “The Acts of the Apostles” would be more rightly named “The Acts of the Holy Spirit”, as it traces many of the events that took place by and through the arrival of the Spirit of God as promised by Jesus and Old Testament prophesy. Mankind was changed forever at It’s appearance. Men were empowered by God with boldness, insight, and gifts that could only come from God Himself.

New Bible study for May 2024
1. “And my God shall supply all you need to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:19
What a powerful statement.
God, the creator of the universe, cares for his creation. He sent His Son Jesus to meet our needs, He died for our sins, and He rose for our justification.
2. “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also give us all things?” Rom 8:32
I. He is the Bread of Life for the Hungry
3. “And said to them, ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” Jn 6:35
4. “Your fathers ate the in the wilderness and are dead.” “…I am the living bread which came down from heaven, if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.” Jn 6:49,51
We eat bread for physical sustenance, but we also must take spiritual bread for spiritual needs:
5. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for , for they shall be filled.” Matt 4:6
6. “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; is the man who trusts in Him!” Ps 34:8

10. “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Jn 9:5
The world sees more pleasure in sin than in salvation:
11. “And this is the, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.” Jn 3:19
They are Spiritually Blind
12. “Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.” Matt 15:14
13. “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” 2 Cor 4:3-4
III. He is the Door for the Unsafe Ones
14. “I am the door. If anyone enters Me, he will be saved…” Jn 10:9a

How should a believer know whether something, not specifically mentioned in the Bible, is right or wrong?
We can have a clear scriptural guide based on the eternal principles of the Word of God. Not an ever-changing, man-made list of things we are not to do.
I. We have Liberty in Christ:
1. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jn 8:32
2. “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free .” Jn 8:36
3. “One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully in his own mind.” Rom 14:5
4. “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be again with a yoke of bondage.” Gal 5:1
Just as liberty is limited in this land by-laws for the regulation of traffic and the protection of life and property, there are at least five general statements that limit our liberty.
A. Liberty is not given to make possible self-indulgence.
5. “For you, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” Gal 5:13
B. Liberty is not to be used as an excuse for enslaving habits.
6. “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be under the power of any.” 1 Cor 6:12
C. Liberty is not for unedifying pleasures.
7. “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.” 1Cor 10:23
D. Liberty does not provide an excuse for hiding sin.
8. “…as free, yet not using liberty as a for vice, but as bondservants of God.” 1Pet 2:16
E. Liberty is not a license for hurting other Christians.
9. “But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a block to those who are weak.” 1Cor 8:9
